Project Overview: NewDoor was contracted by the NORTHWESTCONNECT consortium to provide a conduit between the government, the constructor group, and the public during construction of the Northwest leg of the Edmonton ring road.

Strategy: NewDoor created and managed a series of ongoing avenues for two-way communication with stakeholders for the 39-month construction phase.

Initiatives: Open houses, media tours, online discussion boards, project information website, and telephone hotline. We also developed a crisis communication plan, prepared spokespeople for media interviews, and developed advertising and public relations programs for project updates and public traffic interruptions.
